One of the most spectacular action scenes I ever witnessed was a cheetah running at full speed..  They may look scary but they are actually the most gentle of the big cats. As they are also not nocturnal you can get good daylight sightings in the wild even though their numbers in the wild are low. They are also not dangerous to humans and I am not aware of any humans being killed by cheetahs, unlike leopards  .
