Rhinos are the most amazing (prehistoric) animals and it really saddens me to see how many are killed every year by poachers. We started the Rhino assignment to record them in the wild before it becomes too late. It has now reached the ridiculous stage where we no longer tag or identify where Rhino photos are taken as poachers use that to track them down. Just in 2018 poachers killed 769 rhinos only in the Kruger National Park.  I understand that at least two of the reserves where I photographed these rhinos, no longer have them. That is really so sad.
